INTER SCHOOL TENNIS CUP (ISTC) AT UQ TENNIS CENTRE

SUNDAY 9th MARCH 2025 8.00AM-11.00AM (Suitable for children in Gr1-Gr6)

The ISTC is a one-day doubles competition bringing together all schools that Tennis For Kids coach at.  Schools go head-to-head in three categories – red, orange and green ball – aligning to player ability.  Whilst scores will be recorded and trophies awarded to the winning schools, the focus will be on participation, sportsmanship and having fun.  As the ISTC will be the first taste of match-play for some students, TFK coaches will be on hand to help guide students every step of the way and ensure all matches are played with the intended spirit.

Entry is open to all students who attend lessons at any TFK venue.

All children must enrol and pay individually. Players will be put into teams by our administration staff. Our team will consider requests for specific partners but unfortunately they cannot be guaranteed.

EVENT COST = $50 PER CHILD
(includes a Zooper Dooper ice block and a TFK cap)

Children will be placed in teams:

RED BALL (Grades 1, 2 or 3)

ORANGE BALL (Grades 4 or 5)

GREEN BALL (Grades 5 or 6)

*Grade 3 students will be placed in Orange Ball only if they have at least 12 months experience in Orange Ball lessons OR currently play Orange Ball fixtures. Prep students may enter Red Ball if they have been attending lessons for 2 or more terms.
