Children’s Group Classes

Children’s group classes are the best way to introduce your child to tennis. Children learn technical tennis skills, improve their general coordination and make new friends. The group environment allows for fun games and helps teach children about teamwork. Click here for guidance on selecting the most suitable group class for your child

Private, Semi-Private and Adult Lessons

Private and Semi-Private Lessons are suitable for all players looking to rapidly improve their tennis.  One-on-one (private) or one-on-two (semi-private) sessions allow for detailed and specific stroke analysis and also gives participants an opportunity to work on their fitness.  This lesson format provides dramatic improvements in short periods of time and is the ideal way to prepare children and adults for competitive tennis. Click here for more information about our Private, semi-private and adult lessons

Testimonials

  • Tennis For Kids has reinvigorated interest in tennis in our students. Lessons are now well patronised, as are holiday fixtures and clinics……I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Tennis For Kids and Anthony White, who I find to be highly professional, respectful and a positive drawcard in our local community.

    Ruth (School Business Services Manager)
  • I applaud Anthony for his emphasis on sportsmanship and his endeavours to raise the profile of tennis in our community.

  • Tennis For Kids has been a great starting point for my son to learn tennis. He loves the individual coaching, fixtures program & holiday program…..my son is always so keen to get on the court & play.

  • My children and I have benefited from the expert coaching of the team of talented coaches at Tennis for Kids.
My two primary school aged children have attended weekly before-school coaching sessions, as well as holiday tennis coaching camps at the local school. They love playing tennis, and their skills have tremendously improved since receiving Tennis for Kids coaching. Plus they have made new friends.
I attend weekly coaching sessions with Anthony, as well as playing social fixtures. My game play strategy and skills have improved with Anthony’s help. After many years not playing tennis, Anthony has guided me back to being able to enjoy a good game of tennis with my competitive tennis-playing friends. Anthony is a very effective coach for me.

    Shane (parent and now player)
  • My son has played tennis through the Tennis for Kids program for the past 5 years. His skills have progressed with expert coaching, he has heaps of fun, and absolutely loves the extra tennis camps in the holidays! The company’s organisational skills meen weekly lessons and fixtures run smoothly and efficiently, making it very easy for families to participate.
We recently attended a fantastic Tennis for Kids Family Fun Day at the Qld Tennis Centre and it was a great opportunity for families to come together to play tennis and socialise in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We cannot recommend Anthony more highly as a coach and ambassador for the tennis community in Queensland.

    Sarah (parent)
  • My children (aged 10 and 7) have been learning tennis through Tennis for Kids since 2015. Anthony and his team have provided an engaging and fun programme to help them develop their skills through before and after school tennis lessons. Every coach we have worked with has been great with the kids…… In addition to their regular before/after school lessons, the kids have also had the opportunity to be part of fixtures programmes and school holiday camps. Both of these experiences have really helped them grow and develop as players. I have also been particularly impressed by the standard of behaviour and conduct expected of the players as part of the fixtures programme, where courtesy and good sportsmanship are just as important as the technicalities of the game.

  • Our girls have now been with Tennis for kids for 5 years. In this time they have received group coaching, semi-private coaching, played fixtures and attended the holiday clinics. It has become a whole family affair attending our first family tennis evening this month. Not only do our girls enjoy the fitness and fun, they have made some wonderful friends and look forward to playing every week. Even as parents on the side line we enjoy the amazing community of support and friendship. All the coaches are amazing and we love that it is a family run business. We recommend Tennis for kids to everyone.
